1. Sizing
What sizes do you offer?
Lost in Layers is proud to now offer clothing in sizes 10 to 30. You will still see sizes xs & s/m in our previous styles until they sell out.
How do I find my perfect size?
Our garment measurements provide detailed measurements for each style on the bottom of the listing to help you select the right fit. Additionally, our Model Stats help have reference to compare to our model's measurements. If you’re still unsure, feel free to contact us at hello@lostinlayers.com for personalized assistance.
Are your clothes designed for larger sizes or just scaled up from smaller sizes?
We design every piece with the unique proportions and needs of sizes 10 to 30 in mind. We test each style with fit models to ensure a flattering, comfortable fit for all. Our sample size is not a size small here!
2. Ethical Manufacturing
Where are your clothes made?
Our garments are proudly made in Canada. We work with local factories that uphold high ethical standards, including paying fair living wages and safe working conditions.
What does “slow fashion” mean to Lost in Layers?
Slow fashion means creating timeless, high-quality pieces designed to last. It also means producing clothing thoughtfully, avoiding waste, and valuing the people who bring our designs to life.
Do you use sustainable fabrics?
We source high-quality, durable fabrics that prioritize comfort and longevity. While not all of our materials are fully sustainable, we continuously seek ways to make our processes and materials more environmentally friendly.
3. Ordering & Shipping
How do I place an order?
You can shop directly through our website. Simply add items to your cart and follow the checkout process to complete your order.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within Canada, the United States, and internationally.
What are your shipping rates?
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order. Orders over $250 CAD qualify for free shipping within Canada, and over $185 USD in the United States.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders typically ship within 2-5 business days, and shipping times vary based on location. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number.
Will I need to pay duties or taxes on my international order?
For international orders, additional duties or taxes may be required by your country’s customs office. These fees are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns of regular-priced items within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items with all original tags attached. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Do you offer exchanges?
Yes, exchanges are available for any regular-priced items within 14 days of delivery. Contact our customer support team at returns@lostinlayers.com to initiate an exchange.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email us at returns@lostinlayers.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return or exchange. We’ll provide you with detailed instructions.
What if my item is faulty or damaged?
If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us at returns@lostinlayers.com within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the issue, your order number, and a description of the problem. We’ll work to resolve it promptly, either through a replacement or a refund.
Are sale items final sale?
Yes, Final Few items are considered final sale. Please email us at returns@lostinlayers.com with your order number for any questions or consideration for size exchange. The client will be responsible for all shipping fees.
How long does it take to process a refund?
Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Once processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

6. Miscellaneous
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, digital gift cards are available for purchase in various denominations on our website.
How do I care for my Lost in Layers clothing?
Care instructions are included on the tag of each item. To extend the life of your pieces, we recommend washing on a gentle cycle and hanging or laying flat to dry.
Do you have a physical store?
At this time, we are an online-only brand. However, we occasionally host pop-up events—follow us on social media for updates!
